SEASONING

- The darker it becomes the better it is for natural nonstick properties.
This line of De Buyer are oven-safe for up to 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C). For the “flash oven use” of up to 10 minutes, most De Buyer pans are oven-safe to 400°F (200°C), but if the pan has a cast stainless steel handle, it can be used in the oven for longer periods and at higher temperatures. However, De Buyer pans with epoxy-coated iron handles like the mineral B line should only be flashed in the oven for up to 10 minutes at 200°C (400°F) to avoid damaging the coating of the handle.
