Description

The Vegetable Fruit Press is known as a Torchietto in Italy. Torchiettos are a tool commonly used for pressing soft foods like eggplants (jardiniere), vegetables, nut milk (preblended), pressing cheese, and juicing fruits, and vegetables. Fruits with pits and hard objects are not recommended. Torchiettos specialize in removing liquids from solids, these units boast a solid threaded shaft & bolted heavy-duty posts to support the crank wheel. A solid steel basket holds a perforated basket, and liquid drains thru the drainpipe fitted with a rubber spout for easy draining.
The medium size features a 2.5L capacity and is ideal for medium batch processing.
The torchiettos have a galvanized treatment resulting in a  protective coating on the steel. This results in long-lasting, low maintenance, robust build, and professional results. 
Simply put your vegetables/fruits into the perforated basket and use the solid turning handle to compress liquids out. The dried vegetables or fruit will stay within the perforated basket and all liquid will drain into the solid steel pail, and out through the drainpipe.
