The Retro 1 Group espresso machine is manufactured in polished stainless steel with a retro design reminiscent of a 1950s coffee bar. This model only uses 50w of electricity in gas mode making it a perfect option for an off-the-grid setup. A lever to tailor extraction to coffee variety and manual control for pre-infusion time and extraction pressure during the shot – for a sweeter extraction than standard espresso machines.

 

LPG System Key Features:

  • NZ Gas Safety Certification
  • LPG  fuelled burner, fitted with electronic ignition and flame failure safety device.
  • Boiler pressure is controlled by a gas pressure valve set at 1.0 bar, with a low flame adjustment which controls the gas burner. Please note: a 2.75kw gas pressure regulator must be fitted prior to installation of the machine

  • Change between gas and electricity simply with the flick of a switch.
  • In electricity mode the boiler is heated by a multiple-looped 2700w which requires a 15Amp supply.
  • Top quality 7 litre copper boiler

  • Water and steam pressure are controlled separately with brass safety valves.
